I have been wearing Mac’s See Sheer Lipstick a lot recently in the hope for warmer days its such a pretty coral colour which isn’t really bright on the lips it is subtle enough to wear throughout the day and it’s a really pretty springtime shade. I’ve been wearing this with a dusting of coral blush and paired down eyes. It just brings beautiful warmth to the face and would suit any skin tone. What do you think of this shade?
I can never leave home without one of these Revlon Lip Butter’s stashed in my bag. Berry Smoothie is one of my favourite shades and I love it as its one of those your lips but better colours I love wearing this shade for a nice natural daytime look. I was a bit apprehensive when I first tried it, as I didn’t think it would be very hydrating, however these are great. They apply really easily and really keep my lips hydrated throughout the day whereas some lipsticks can be very drying or you need to apply an intensive lip balm before. I also adore the shade Raspberry Pie this is a brighter berry stained lip colour as is great for those days where you just need a pop of colour. I love to wear this with a neutral eye as it stands out and its great to wear out in the evening. I need to try some more shades I am quiet tempted to pick up the shade Macaroon. What do you think of these have you tried them yet, if so which shades do you love?
These products have already been mentioned so much online, but they really are my skincare saviours.I have tried some different types of skincare recently but my skin has disagreed with it. I decided to give the clarins pure melt cleansing gel but it ended up bringing me out in loads of spots so I have gone back to my trusty bioderma and liz earl. I start by removing my make-up with the bioderma and this usually gets everything off unless I am wearing really heavy eye make-up, but I have not been using as much eye-liner recently so this normally works. I love the bioderma is so gentle on the skin and now if I use make-up-wipes it feels that they are sting my face. I found that it is now stocked in the covent garden pharmacy as well which is great as it is usually so hard to get hold off. After all my make-up is gone I use the Liz Earl Cleanse and Polish with the muslin cloth that is provided and this just sweeps away any dead skin and any make-up that remains and leaves my skin lovely and soft and clear, I also feel that by exfoliating it also makes my skin seem brighter. After cleansing is done I love to pat on the Estee Lauder Advanced night repair which helps to put some goodness back into my skin with all of the antioxidants it has. I’m currently trying to find the best moisturiser for my skin I have tried the origins night a mins but sometimes it can be too rich for my combination skin. Do you have any recommendations and what are your skincare hero products?
It has to be one of my most worn lipsticks of all time and I absolute love this it has the perfect amount of purple without being too dark and just adds that stained black current looking lips that is perfect for all year round. I love to wear this with a neutral eye as I find that this shade does all the talking and it just adds a little pop of colour without being too much or too bright! What do you think which lipstick are you loving at the moment?
Now that springtime is just around the corner, I feel that it is now time to wear brighter shades and I have decided to change my usual pink blush for something a bit brighter and more daring and I have found the perfect shade of coral. The Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Calypso Coral is the perfect shade for adding a touch of summer to your cheeks and blends in perfectly with a dewy foundation to give that perfect spring summer glow. I’ve been wearing this recently on my lips as well as my cheeks and its so pretty and colourful I have also been wearing it with Mac’s see sheer lipstick which is a great combo. What are your favourite new spring summer buys?
